REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove the front engine cover.
a Disconnect from the Venturi:
- the diesel fuel return pipe union (1) ,
- the diesel injector fuel return rail (2) .
a Fit blanking plugs on:
- the openings of the Venturi,
- the diesel return pipe opening.
Tightening torquesm
Venturi bolt 5.5 N.m
IMPORTANT
To avoid all risk of damage to the systems, apply
the safety and cleanliness instructions and opera-
tion recommendations before carrying out any
repair (see 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injec-
tion: Precautions for repair, page 13B-1) .
IMPORTANT
Wear leaktight gloves (Nitrile type) for this opera-
tion.
Note:
Make sure that you have a new venturi before ope-
ning the fuel circuit.
WARNING
Prepare for the flow of fluid, and protect the sur-
rounding components.
