Diesel injector fuel return rail: Removal - Refitting

a Press the injector clips.
a Vertically pull the end piece of the fuel return rail on
each diesel fuel injector.
a Remove the diesel injector fuel return rail.
a Fit blanking plugs onto the injectors.
a Place the diesel injector fuel return rail in a protecti-
ve bag.

CONCERNED
a Take the diesel injector fuel return rail out of the pro-
tective bag or out of its packaging.
a Remove the blanking plugs.
a Refit the diesel injector fuel return rail.
a Connect the union between the diesel temperature
sensor and the diesel fuel injector return rail.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the injector rail protector (see 13B, Diesel injec-
tion, Injector rail protector: Removal - Refitting,
page 13B-70) ,
- the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).

WARNING
Do not remove the blanking plugs from each
component until the last moment.
Also, do not remove the components from their
packaging until they are to be fitted to the vehi-
cle.
