DIESEL INJECTION
High-pressure pipe between the pump and rail: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect the turbocharger pressure sensor con-
nector (5) .
a Unclip the cable for the turbocharging pressure sen-
sor from the intercooler air outlet pipe (6) .
a Pull the clip (7) from the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Move the intercooler outlet air pipe to one side.
a Remove the seal from the intercooler air outlet pipe.
a Unclip the wiring for the damper valve from the injec-
tor rail protector at (8) .
a Unclip the injector rail protector cover at (9) .
a Remove:
-the bolts (10) from the injector rail protector cover
plate,
- the injector rail protector.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Clean the nuts of the high pressure pipe between
the high pressure pump and the injector rail (see
13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injection: Precau-
tions for repair, page 13B-1) .
