DIESEL INJECTION
High-pressure pipe between the rail and injector: Removal - Refitting
K9K, and 832

-the nut(s) for the high pressure pipe(s) between the
injector rail and the diesel fuel injector(s) on the in-
jector side,
-the high pressure pipe(s) between the injector rail
and the diesel fuel injector(s) concerned.
a Fit suitable blanking plugs on:
-the opening(s) on the injector rail,
-the opening of the diesel injector(s).
2 - Removing the four high pressure pipes
a Unclip the diesel fuel injector wiring from the rocker
cover.
a Disconnect:
-all heater plug connectors,
-the connector for each diesel injector,
-the connector (10) for the fuel pressure regulation
solenoid valve,
-the connector (11) for the fuel flow regulation sole-
noid valve,
-the fuel temperature sensor connector (12) ,
-the connector (13) for the injector rail pressure sen-
sor.
a Unclip the injection wiring clip (14) .
a Remove the nut (15) from the injection wiring brac-
ket.
a Move aside the injection wiring.
a Unclip:
- the alternator wiring from the injector rail protector,
- the coolant hose from the injection pump protector
a Unclip the expansion bottle lower cooling hose from
the injection pump protector.
a Disconnect the fuel drain pipe from the injector rail
protector (16) .
a Move the fuel drain pipe aside.
a Remove:
- the nuts (17) from the injector rail protector,
- the injector rail protector bolt (18) ,
- the injector rail protector.
