ENGINE AND CYLINDER BLOCK ASSEMBLY
Oil pressure sensor: Removal - Refitting

a Disconnect:
-the pinking sensor connector (4) ,
-the oil pressure sensor (5) .
a Remove the oil pressure sensor.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Degrease the mating face of the oil pressure sensor
on the cylinder block using SURFACE CLEANER
(see Vehicle: Parts and ingredients for the repai-
rwork) (04B, Consumables - Products).
a Coat the threading of the oil pressure sensor with SI-
LICONE ADHESIVE SEALANT (see Vehicle:
Parts and ingredients for the repairwork) (04B,
Consumables - Products).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the oil pressure sensor.
a Torque tighten the oil pressure sensor (33 N.m).
a Connect the oil pressure sensor connector.
a Connect the pinking sensor connector.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the alternator strut,
- the bolt for the alternator strut onto the cylinder
block,
- the bolt for the alternator strut onto the alternator.
a Tighten to torque:
- the alternator strut bolt on the alternator (25
N.m),
- the alternator strut bolt on the cylinder block
(25 Nm).
a Refit the engine cover.
