Water pump inlet pipe: Removal - Refitting

REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a parts always to be replaced: seal between coo-
lant pump inlet pipe and coolant pump (10,06,01,
22).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the coolant pump inlet pipe fitted with a new
seal.
a Torque tighten the coolant pump inlet pipe bolt
(22 N.m).
a Torque tighten the coolant pump inlet pipe bolts
(25 N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Connect the following to the coolant pump inlet pipe:
-the heater matrix hose,
-the cooling radiator bottom hose.
a Using the (Mot. 1202-02) or (Mot. 1202-01) or (Mot.
1448) fit:
-the heater matrix hose clip,
-the cooling radiator bottom hose clip.
a Clip the alternator wiring.
a Refit:
-the washer located behind the alternator bracket,
-the alternator strut,
-the bolt mounting the strut on the alternator,
-the alternator strut nut on the cylinder block.
a Tighten to torque:
-the bolt of the alternator strut on the alternator
(25 N.m),
- the alternator strut nut on the cylinder block (25
N.m).
a Refit the dipstick guide.
a Torque tighten the dipstick guide tube bolt (10
N.m).
a Torque tighten the dipstick guide tube bolts (10
N.m).
a Refit the oil pressure sensor (see 10A, Engine and
cylinder block assembly, Oil pressure sensor:
Removal - Refitting, page 10A-64) .
a Refit:
- the dipstick,
-the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
- the engine undertray,
- the front section of the front wheel arch liners (see
Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting)
(55A, Exterior protection),
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting)
(35A, Wheels and tyres),
- the engine cover.
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Fill and bleed the cooling system (see 19A, Coo-
ling, Cooling circuit: Draining - Refilling, page
19A-17) .
