Catalytic converter: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
-the timing end lifting eye bolt (2) ,
-the lifting eye on the timing end,
-the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres),
-the front section of the front right-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection).
a Drain the manual gearbox (see Manual gearbox
oil: Draining - Refilling) (21A, Manual gearbox).
a Remove:
-the front right-hand wheel driveshaft (see Front ri-
ght-hand wheel driveshaft: Removal - Refitting)
(29A, Driveshafts),
-the right-hand differential output seal (see Diffe-
rential output seal: Removal - Refitting) (21A,
Manual gearbox),
-the lower engine tie-bar (see 19D, Engine moun-
ting, Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting,
page 19D-33) ,
-the connecting hose (see 19B, Exhaust, Connec-
ting hose: Removal - Refitting, page 19B-60) .
a Remove the clips (3) from the electric coolant pump.
a Move aside the electric water pump.
a Remove:
- the lower engine tie-bar mounting bolts (4) ,
- the lower engine tie-bar support.
