ENGINE MOUNTING
Lower engine tie-bar: Removal - Refitting

a Undo the bolt (4) for the lower engine tie-bar tie rod
on the gearbox.
a Remove:
-the lower engine tie-bar tie rod bolt (5) ,
-the lower engine tie-bar tie rod (6) ,
-the bolt (7) for the lower engine tie-bar from the
subframe,
-the lower engine tie-bar.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar support.
a Torque tighten the lower engine tie-bar support
bolts (62 N.m).
a Refit the lower engine tie-bar on the subframe.
a Tighten to torque:
-the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the subframe
(180 N.m),
- the lower engine tie-bar bolt on the lower engi-
ne tie-bar support (180 N.m).
a Refit without tightening:
- the lower engine tie-bar,
- the lower engine tie-bar tie rod.
a Tighten to torque:
- the lower engine tie-bar tie rod bolt on the gear-
box (105 N.m),
- the lower engine tie-bar bolts on the subframe
(105 N.m).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the engine undertray.
