• Do not obstruct the machine's vents. Doing so risks fire caused by overheated internal
components.
• Machine sound levels exceeding LWAd > 63 dB (A) are not suitable for desk work
environments, so place the machine in another room.
• After you move the machine, use the caster fixture to fix it in place. Otherwise the machine might
move or come down to cause an injury.
• Protect the machine from dampness or wet weather, such as rain and snow.
• Keep the machine in an area that is within optimum environmental conditions. Operating the
machine in an environment that is outside the recommended ranges of humidity and
temperature can cause an electrical fire hazard. Keep the area around the socket free of dust.
Accumulated dust can become an electrical fire hazard.

This section describes acceptable and recommended temperature and humidity ranges of the
environment where this machine will be installed.
• Temperature: 10 32 °C (50 89.6 °F) (humidity to be 54% at 32 °C, 89.6 °F)
• Humidity: 15 80% (temperature to be 27 °C, 80.6 °F at 80%)
• A strong and level base.
• The machine must be level within 5 mm, 0.2 inches: both front to rear and left to right.
