When inch size originals are used, make a slot as
shown to stop the original stopper at the 8
1/2
inch
position.
CAUTION
When the slot is made, operating cautions must
be instructed to operators, so that operators
can adjust the original stopper position
correctly according to the original size set in the
ADF. The A4 position and 8
1/2
inch position are
very close. If the original stopper position is not
proper, original misfeeds will occur.

Set the toner cartridge.
CAUTION
Shake the toner cartridge well before you set it.

Set paper in each paper tray.
CAUTION
Do not block the fan filter windows of the left
and rear exterior covers.
