2.2.4 Optical axis adjusting mechanism
The optical axis adjusting mechanism matches the angle
of the 1st mirror, lens, and 2nd mirror. The following
angles are adjusted:
Angle of the 1st mirror
Front and rear height of the 1st mirror housing
Angle of the 2nd mirror
Angle of the 1st mirror housing
Front and rear height of the 1st mirror housing
With the guide wire and double nut, adjust the front and
rear height of the 1st mirror housing.
Angle of the 1st mirror
Use the 1st mirror adjustment screws to adjust the 1st
mirror angle.
Angle of the 1st mirror housing
Use the guide eccentric cam to adjust the 1st mirror
housing angle (swings to the left and right).
Angle of the 2nd mirror
Use the 2nd mirror adjusting screw to adjust the angle of
the 2nd mirror.
CAUTION
Do not change the optical axis because it
can be adjusted only on the production line.
However, if the guide wire is loose, you may
take up the slack with the double nut.
