5. Remove the Interface rails [A], NVRAMs [B] and DIMM Memory [C].
When installing the new controller board
1. Remove the NVRAMs from the old controller board.
2. Install the NVRAMs on the new controller board after you replace the controller board.
Make sure that you install the NVRAMs in the correct sockets (see [B] in the
diagram above).
3. Reassemble the machine.
4. Turn on the main power of the machine
Make sure you print out the SMC reports ("SP Mode Data" and "Logging Data")
before you replace the NVRAM.
Keep NVRAMs away from any objects that can cause static electricity. Static
electricity can damage NVRAM data.
Make sure the NVRAM is correctly installed on the controller board.
When installing a new HDD unit
1. Turn the main power switch on. The disk is automatically formatted.
2. Install the stamp data using "SP5853".
3. Switch the machine off and on to enable the fixed stamps for use.
