Check the Settings with the Test E-mail
Follow the procedure to check if the E-mail is sent correctly.
Note
Ask your system administrator for your authentication of the SMTP server
before settings.
A Click [Send Test E-mail].
B Check the E-mail of the RC Gate administrator with the E-mail applica-
tions.
If an E-mail has been received, operate with the current settings.
C If a test E-mail has not received, enter settings

again or enter the E-
mail address for the RC Gate administrator to [RC Gate E-mail address (for
sender)].
Note
Make settings according to your E-mail environment. For example, enter
the characters that follow the “@” of the E-mail address.
When an error occurs with POP before SMTP authentication, set the [Wait
time after authentication] longer.
D Ask your service representative if the E-mail has not been received in spite
of the correction of the settings above.
POP Server Password This is the password used for [User
name] when using POP before
SMTP authentication. Usually, the
same E-mail address with [RC Gate
E-mail address (for sender)] is ap-
plied, but it may be different for se-
curity reasons.

thentication
Set the wait time longer if an error
occurs with POP before SMTP au-
thentication. Set the time at 0 to 30
seconds.
