menu for the current mode press and hold the Menu button.

the display. Press and release the Select button to enter the System Settings
menu.

the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'Normal' is highlighted on the display.
To adjust the display brightness when the sound system is in standby press
the Menu Up or Down buttons until 'Standby' is highlighted.
Press and release the Select button to enter the selected brightness adjustment
mode. The current setting will be marked with an asterisk.

When the radio is in Standby mode, pressing a button will cause the sound system
to switch to the normal brightness level for a few seconds. This is so that even if the
standby brightness level is set low, it is still possible to see the time when needed.
The settings in Standby mode are lower than their equivalents when the sound
system is in use.
