If there is damage to the turbocharger, the engine must be sent to the authorized over-
haul facility for overhaul.

Procedure
1 Visual inspection of the engine, in particular
• Turbocharger
• Air intake system
2 Check wiring. See Chapter 12–20–00 section Check wiring.
NNOOTTEE
If no mechanical damage is detected during the visual inspection,
check the boost pressure control. See chapter 76–00–00 of the
Heavy Maintenance Manual.

Check oil consumption.
