CHECK # Key Program Notes

You can program a unique descriptor. The default
descriptor is CHKTRACK.
KEY DISABLE Y or N Select Y to disable this function.
COMPULSORY FOR
ALL SALES
Y or N Select Y you must begin a new, or recall an existing
tracking number before registering items.
OPENING CLERK
HAS EXCLUSIVE
ACCESS
Y or N If Y, the clerk that begins a tracking number is the only
clerk who can recall a check. If N, any clerk can recall any
check.
PRINT ON RECEIPT Y or N If N, the check track number and balance will not print on
the receipt.
PRINT ON REMOTE Y or N If N, the check track number and balance will not print on
the remote.
ALLOW ONLY ONE
CHK PER TABLE
Y or N If Y, you can begin only one check with the same table #.
CHECK # ASSIGNED
BY REGISTER
Y or N If Y, press the CHECK. # key to automatically assign the
next sequential check. Check numbers will begin with #1
and continue until the open check report is reset, at which
point the check number will be reset and start at #1 again.
DRIVE THRU
FEATURE ENABLED
Y or N If you wish to implement a drive thru recall key, this setting
changes the function of the PBAL key to that of a recall
key. Press the PBAL key directly to automatically recall
the open check with the lowest tracking number
LENGTH OF CHECK
(0-9)
Y or N Set the length of check in number of digits. For example,
if 4, then checks must be used in the range from 1000, to
9999. This setting applies only to check numbers input by
the operator, not to check numbers assigned by the register.
SCAN CHECK # Y or N Choose Y to allow the check number to be input by a
scanner (must be nine digits or less).
