Checking the Firmware
Select [Information]
>
[Build Version].
Check the version name.

Updating the Firmware
CAUTION
Be sure to perform a virus check for the USB memory before connecting it to the printer.

Prepare a pkg fi le used for fi rmware updating and copy it to the root directory of the USB memory.

Insert the USB memory into the USB connector (Type A).

Power on the printer.

Display the version to be updated.

Select [ ] (right select button) to start updating.

When the update is complete, the printer restarts automatically.
