7.5 Changing the sensor (for IOL variant)
Changing the sensor(variant IOL)
Saving data
It is possible to read out the data of the sensor and transfer it to
the new sensor.
To do this, save the sensor data to the control system before
disassembling the sensor, see Software Manual "PGL-plus-P with
Integrated Sensor System, IO-Link Protocol".
Removing the sensor
■ There is no compressed air or energy supply.
■ No workpiece is gripped.
1. Loosen the threaded ring fitting on the IO-Link cable and
remove the cable from the connector(1).
2. Loosen screws(4) and pull sensor(3) out of the housing.
Installing the sensor
1. Prepare the new sensor system. This is available from
SCHUNK, }1.4.1 [
/
8].
2. Mount the new O-ring seal(2) on the sensor head.
3. Insert sensor(3) into the sensor hole until the stop.
4. Install and tighten the screws(4) with medium-strength
threadlocker.
✓ Tightening torque: 0.11Nm
