1.7.6 Sampling Systems
See Figure 1.5. Two standard sampling systems are available:
The 1161 for dry gases, comprises two flow meters fitted with needle valves to set bypass and
sample flow rates and a filter with a replaceable element.
The 1162 for wet samples, comprises a water-filled bubbler, a filter with a replaceable element and
a needle valve to control the flow. The latter is suitable for samples saturated at temperatures up
to 45°C (113°F)
The high temperature 1100H, using the model 1132 transducer, will generally require a custom
designed sampling system.
