The heater cable is unsuitable for use in hazardous areas without further
protection.
3. The kit includes four glands and sealing washers each for the heater cables and signal
cables. The cable glands are constructed from brass Certified EEx 'd' IIC.
4. If used in a hazardous area, the glands must be properly fitted to the analyser
enclosures to ensure that the sealing is maintained to IP54 (NEMA 4).
2.11 OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
Recommended conductor size is 16/0.2mm (20 AWG) but a cross-sectional area of 0.5 to 1.5
mm
2
(20 to 16 AWG) can be used.
