2 Product overview
2.1 Use and proper application
The GM35 in-situ gas analyzer continuously measures the concentrations of CO, CO
2
, and
H
2
O in gas ducts (individual or simultaneous depending on the device variant). As an in-situ
measuring system, the GM35 conducts measurements directly in the gas duct, without ex-
tracting any samples.
■
Emissions monitoring
The GM35 determines and quantifies the levels of toxic substances and reference values
in gases quickly, reliably, and precisely.
■
Process analysis and control
The reliability, precision, and short response time of des GM35 are a key factor in enhancing
the efficiency of closed-loop control circuits in all CO and CO
2
-creating processes. Firing and
drying plants are reliably monitored and efficiently controlled.
2.1.1 Conformities and certifications
Many areas of application require a conformity with certain specifications. The Probe Model
GM35 complies with the following requirements:
•
Guidelines regarding qualification tests for measuring equipment intended for
continuousemission measurements
•
Suitability for emission measurement in installations pursuant to the Federal German Pol-
lution Control Act (13
th
/EN2001/80/EC and 17
th
/EN2000/76/EC Implementing Ordi-
naces) and the Clean air Regulations (TA Luft) for the components CO, CO
2
and H
2
O
(both cross duct and probe version of the GM35)
•
Conformity to EN 14181
•
Conformity with GOST regulation, certificate no. DE.C.31.001.ANr. 11933
