• Evaluation unit
The evaluation unit in the GM35 measuring systems acts as the user interface. It
prepares and outputs the measured values and performs control and monitoring
functions. The evaluation unit can be installed near the SR unit. If necessary, however, it
can also be installed up to 1000 m (3,280 ft) from the measuring point (e.g. in a central
control/monitoring room at an industrial plant).
The evaluation unit carries out the following tasks:
– Outputs measured values, calculated data, and operating statuses.
– Communicates with peripheral equipment.
– Outputs error messages and other status signals.
– Controls automatic test functions and provides access during servicing (diagnosis).
Connection cables
• Flanges with tube
Flanges are used for installing the SR unit with probe on the
gas duct. The purge air attachments onto which the SR unit
with measuring probe are later mounted are secured to the
flanges. For a dimension drawing and the order data,page
106. An ANSI or DIN flange (provided by the customer) can
be used instead of the flanges supplied.
