Measuring probe in detail
Fig. 2 GPP measuring probe with ceramic filter and ceramic/Teflon filter
Integrated Sensors Each probe version has an integrated temperature sensor PT 1000 (which constantly
measures the temperature of the medium on the active measuring path of the probe) and
pressure sensor.
The measurement data is transferred by the CAN bus interface of the measuring probe and
can be displayed on the evaluation unit.
EPA conformity If you are using a GPP probe, you can carry out an audit measurement with the device
mounted in compliance with EPA CFR 40 Part 60 or Part 75.
GMP – probe with aperture and rectangular purge-air outlet
The measuring probes of the GMP series are characterized by their minimum response
time, and resistance to high temperatures. A continuous purge-air supply is required. In the
current series of GMP probes, the air is released into the duct 90° to the gas flow (directed
purge air).
The GMP probe contains a closing device towards the opening for measuring gas and is op-
erated via a lever at the probe flange.
