Maintenance intervals
The equipment operator must specify the maintenance intervals. The period depends on
existing operating parameters such as dust content and state, gas temperature, how the
equipment is run and ambient conditions. Therefore only general recommendations can be
made here. Normally, the maintenance intervals are about 4 weeks during the initial period
and can be steadily incremented to up to a year depending on the respective conditions.
The equipment operator must specify the specific work to be carried out and its
performance in a Maintenance Manual.
Maintenance contract
Scheduled maintenance work can be carried out by the equipment operator. Only qualified
personnel according to Section 1 should be allowed to do the work. If desired, SICK Service
or authorized Service support centers can carry out all maintenance work. Any repairs will
be made by specialists onsite whenever possible.
