9 Troubleshooting and Clearing Malfunctions
This Section explains how to detect, diagnose and clear malfunctions on the Gas Analyzer
GM35. It is primarily aimed at the operating personnel responsible for the current
operation of the measuring system as well as maintenance technicians responsible for
clearing malfunctions.
9.1 Malfunction categories/possible effects
Malfunctions on the GM35 are categorized according to their anticipated effects:
Damage to the measuring system itself
Depending on the installation conditions and measuring system version, a purge air failure
could cause damage to the GM35.
“Purge air failure”, page 105 describes the necessary
emergency and protective measures.
