Functions for managing the RAID system
The pre-installed RAID system software offers enhanced functionality for RAID system
operation and management. You start the software with "Start > Programs > Intel Rapid
Storage Technology".
The "Manage -> Advanced" command returns details of the RAID system.
Use the "Help > System Report > Save" command to create a report with details of the RAID
system.
NOTICE
By default, the status of the RAID system is displayed in the Windows Event Viewer and in
a log file of the program.
If an error occurs, a hard disk drive can be synchronized at the operating system level. It
may take a very long time (hours or even days in the case of a high hard disk load) to
synchronize a new hard disk in the background, depending on its size and on the system
load.
The redundant system state RAID 1 is reached again only after synchronization is
completed.
