6.5 Disk drives

5. Lift the drive module ① out of the device until you can access the cables.
6. Disconnect the connection cables.
7. Lift the drive module completely out of the device.
6.5.3 Installing drives or removable racks
Requirement
● The drive module has been removed.
● T10 screwdriver
Procedure
1. If you are installing a 3.5" drive, attach two mounting brackets or a 3.5"/5.25" mounting
rack for the drive.
2. Remove the drive in the vertical slot, if installed.
The only way to get at the mounting screws on the right side of the drive is through the
openings of the vertical slot.
3. Push the drive or the removable rack into the slot from the front.
