7.1 Removing and installing hardware components

Tools
You can make all repairs on the device with the following tools:
● T20 screwdriver for
– Device backplane
– Device fan
– PE terminal
● T10 screwdriver for all of the remaining screws
● Side cutter
7.1.2 Maintenance
To maintain high system availability, we recommend the preventative replacement of those
PC components that are subject to wear in accordance with the intervals for replacement
indicated in the table below.
Component Replacement interval:
Drive 3 years
CMOS backup battery 5 years
Fan 3 years
Filter mat Depending on the degree of soiling
