6.4.2 Installing expansion modules
Requirement
● The device is disconnected from the power network.
● The device is opened.
Procedure
1. Hold the rod
① on both ends and pull it out
with the module brackets facing up.
2. Remove the cover plate
② of the slot for
the expansion module.
3. Insert the expansion module
② into the
slot.
4. Secure the expansion module with the
designated screw.
5. Install the rod with the module brackets.
6. Remove the bracket
③ and place it on the
expansion module.
7. Secure the bracket with the designated
screw.
If you are installing a short expansion
module, remove the locking screw from the
retainer and install it in the opposite hole.
8. Close the device.
Note
The device comes with three long brackets for modules with low mounting height. Use the
long brackets instead of the ones installed.
