7.3 Removing and installing hardware

Release the knurled screw of the
fan holder and remove the fan
holder from the housing.
Press at the side of the clips of the
fan connector to unlatch and pull
the connector forward from the
socket.
Loosen all the expanding rivets and
remove the device fan from the fan
holder.

Install only fans of the same

Ensure that the arrow on the device fan poin
ts away from the fan bracket. The device fan
blows air into the enclosure.
To install the fan, follow the steps for removing it in reverse order.
Ensure that position of the fans are the cable routing are correct, see the figure in the
"Removal" section, Step 2. Make sure that the cables are not squashed or block the fan.
