Information about specifications
The device is designed for use with expansion cards to PCI specification 2.3 or PCIe
specification 1.0a. PCI expansion cards with a 5 V and 3.3 V power supply can be operated.
Compliance with the defined mechanical defaults is imperative. Failure to comply with these
defaults can result in contact problems, malfunctions and assembly difficulties. The permitted
expansion card contour dimensions are specified in the section Dimension drawing of the
expansion cards (Page 122).
