Replacing the processor 
Requirement 
●  The device is opened. 
●  The memory modules have been removed. 
●  The air guide has been removed (see chapter "Removing and installing the device fan 
(Page 87)") 
●  A suitable processor 
Only an approved processor is permitted to be installed on the motherboard of the 
device. If the processor type is changed, the BIOS must be updated so that the suitable

1.  Loosen the screws ①. 
 
The fourth screw is hidden by the air guide in the figure. 
2.  Remove the heat sink. 
3.  Release the lever 
② of the processor bay and tilt it all the way back. The bay releases 
the processor.
