Operator Controls
WARNING
Fire hazard and electrical shock hazard
The on/off button and on/off switch(es) do not disconnect the device from the mains. A fire
hazard exists in case of a short circuit. An electrical shock hazard exists inside the device.
Unplug all power cords from the device when you open it or take it out of service.
Note
Data loss is possible when you operate the reset button.

Description
On/off button
Used to switch the device on or off.
Note: The device rear has one or 2 line side
switches
. These have to be switched on so
that the on/off button at the front functions.
Reset button
The reset button can be operated using a
pointed object, for example, an open paper clip.
You trigger a hardware reset when you operate
the button. The device restarts (cold start).
On/Off switch (simple power supply)
Used to connect the device to the mains.
Depending on the "After G3 On" BIOS setting,
the device may turn on automatically.
Otherwise, you may have to operate the on/off
button
on the front.
