13.3 Tool types
A number of tool types are available when you create a new tool. The tool type determines
which geometry data is required and how it will be computed.

Turning on milling machine
If you are working on a milling/turning machine, when creating tools, turning tools are also
available in addition to drilling, milling and special tools.
