The overcurrent-time protection is a back-up protection function of the bay unit and in-
cludes the following functions (see Chapter 5.16, page 188):
• Phase-selective high-set stage (I>>)
• High-set stage for the earth current (IE>>)
• Phase-selective overcurrent stage with definite time or inverse time characteristic
(I> / Ip)
• Overcurrent stage for the earth current with definite time or inverse time character-
istic (IE> / IEp)
Back-up protection function, can work without the central unit
