8.7 MEASURING THE PIPE WALL THICKNESS
After calibrating the 1011TS transducer, you can proceed to take a pipe wall measurement. Press the
key twice to move back to the main Wall Thickness menu.
Press the key to move the highlight to Measure Thickness.
Press the key to enter the Measure Thickness menu.
Note that the default material is: Steel. If this is your pipe material, then you can bypass the next step.
To pick a different pipe material, press the to select the Pipe Material option list.
Use the key to move the cursor to your pipe material, then press to select it.
Your pipe material appears in the right-hand column. The highlight moves to [Measure Thickness].
