Checking the table top

You must check the mobility and cleanness of the table top.

✧ Make sure that you can manually retract the table top from
the gantry. (→ Page C.2-9 Retracting the patient table
manually)
✧ Make sure that the scan field is free of residual contrast
medium, blood or other contaminations.
Checking the laser light marker

✧ Switch on the laser light marker and check the projections
of the light beams on a white sheet of paper.
The laser beam must project a line.

✧ Stop scanning to rule out any danger to patients.
