Whenyouwanttoputanewcatchmonitoringsensortouse,youneedtoaddittothesystem.
Prerequisites
Inordertoreadcatchmonitoringsensordata,youmustrstconnectoneormorereceiver
unitstotheProcessorUnit.Eachofthesereceiverscanreadtheinformationtransmittedby
thesensorsplacedonyourgear.
ThisprocedureassumesthatasuitablereceiverunithasbeenconnectedtotheProcessor
Unit,andthatallrelevantcommunicationparametershavebeendened.
Context
CatchmonitoringsensorsaredeliveredfromKongsbergMaritimeASreadilysetupwith
commondefaultsettings.Whenrequired,eachindividualsensormaybeconguredto
specifyitscommunicationchannelandwhichmeasurementstomake.
Note
Ifyournewsensorhasalreadybeencongured,youdonotneedtorepeattheconguration
processtouseit.Ifyouwishtouseoldersensors(notPXfamily),thesemustbecongured
usingtheirdedicatedapplicationsbefore
youaddthem.
TheAddNewSensordialogboxstartsa"wizard"thatpermitsyoutoselectthespeciccatch
monitoringsensoryouwanttoputtouse.Ifnecessary,the"wizard"providesthenecessary
congurationfunctionality.WiththeSelectSensorsdialogboxyouareaddingpreviously
conguredsensorstotheTV80.
