• Any condensation occurring in the handpiece of the
Mini LED may cause impairments (e.g. fogging of the
LED). If the handpiece is taken from a cool environment
into a warm room then it may only be operated once it
has reached room temperature.
• Curing lamps may not be used by individuals who suffer
or who have suffered from photobiological reactions
(including solar urticaria or erythropoietic porphyria) or
by people who are currently taking medication (including
methoxsalene or chlortetracycline) which increase
sensitivity to light.
• People who have had operations on their retina, lens or
eye in the past, in particular for cataracts, must consult
their optician before using the lamp or being treated with
the Mini L.E.D. Caution is advisable even if the patient
gives his or her consent, since the light intensity can
cause accidents.
• Wearing appropriate protective goggles at all times is
advised in particular (UV filter).
Installation
1. Connect the supply cable to the treatment center.
2. Screw the handpiece on.
3. Attach the sterilized light guide to the handpiece.
Make sure to insert the light guide correctly.
The light guide engages with a "click".
4. Slip the glare shield onto the light guide. It protects
your eyes against reflected light.
