Fit bullet (line
piercing) valves
to low and high
side of system.
Create a safe work area around faulty
cartridge. Area must be in open well
ventilated space. Ensure no hazards,
ignition sources or drains.
Fit HC gauge set.
Safely release gas
(do NOT release
gas into water).
After gas is
released, remove
gauges and t
caps to valves.
Ensure valves not
leaking.
Send faulty cartridge for repair. The
cartridge must be transported in a
suitably ventilated vehicle, and must
be stored in a well ventilated place.
Label cartridge
with suspected
fault.
Return faulty
cartridge to service
depot:
Can gas be
released safely?
Transport
cartridge in gas
safe vehicle to
safe area for gas
release.
Is refrigeration
system
considered to
have gas leak?
