Specifications
This GNSS (GPS + GLONASS) module is base on RTK technology and was specially developed for SmartAP Autopilot and is intended to be
used in applications where precise positioning really matters. It's based on the latest and most precise UBlox Neo M8P chipset which provides
outstanding positioning accuracy. The set includes base station module with external active patch antenna, airborne module with integrated
patch antenna and set of cables.
Real Time Kinematic (RTK) satellite navigation is a technique used to enhance the precision of position data derived from satellite-based
positioning systems (global navigation satellite systems, GNSS). It uses measurements of the phase of the signal's carrier wave, rather than
the information content of the signal, and relies on a single reference station or interpolated virtual station to provide real-time corrections,
providing up to centimetre-level accuracy.
