Release the fingers that grip the regent disc,
unwrap
and discard the tissue paper.
Inspect the reagent disc
for any damage or
abnormality.
Do Not Use Any Damaged Reagent
Discs.
After opening the pouch, the disc
should be used
within 20 minutes. Do not place the disc back
in the
refrigerator for later use.
The surface of the reagent disc should be kept
clean at all times. Hold the disc by the edge
to
avoid contact with the reagent disc surface
where
optical measurement takes place.
Remove The Aluminum Strip
Before dispensing the sample, remove
the aluminum
strip of the diluent container
to ensure normal operation
of the clinical chemistry analyzer. Please follow these
steps to remove the aluminum strip:
Hold the reagent disc by
the edge and avoid touching
the barcode ring. Meanwhile, avoid contacting
the
top and bottom sides of the reac
tion cuvettes that are
located on the outer part of the reagent disc
(round
holes next to the barcode). Remove
the aluminum
strip
of the diluent container, which covers the
sample port on the reagent disc, by gently pulling
the
end of the aluminum strip in an outward direction
along the surface of the reagent disc. Please
completely remove the aluminum strip
from the
reagent disc.
Discard the removed aluminum strip.
