After the sample is
completely dispensed into
the reagent disc, keep the
pipette plunger down and
remove the pipette from the
sample port before
releasing the plunger to
avoid withdrawing the
sample from the reagent
disc.

Use a lint-free tissue to
clean any sample spilled on
the outside of the reagent
disc.

Dispose of the used tissue
and pipette tip in a
designated biohazard
container.

Hold the reagent disc by its edges and keep it level;
gently place it into the analyzer’s disc drawer.

Close the analyzer’s disc drawer and begin the
analysis. Please refer to section
3.5 Performing a
Test for detailed information.

1. Wear powder-
free gloves while handling reagent
discs or operating the analyzer in order to avoid
powder
affecting the system’s optical
measurement properties.

Perform the test within 10 minutes of dispensing
the sample into the reagent disc.
