3. Press OK to confirm your choice and start the slideshow.
4. Press ■ to stop the slideshow.
7.4 Playing videos
You can play a recorded video and view it on the P340 flexiprobe display or on any external monitor
connected to the video output jacks on the controller.
NOTE: If using an external monitor to display the video, this may not display the entire picture as shown
and recorded by the P340 controller. The size of the picture displayed will vary between monitors and it is
dependent on the monitor’s analog input and video resolution specifications.
To playback a video:
1. Select the file you wish to playback.
2. Press video ► or OK to start the playback.
3. Press to pause the video at any time.
4. Press ◄ or ► to fast-forward or rewind. To resume normal playback speed press video ►.
5. Press VOL- and VOL+ to adjust the audio volume.
6. Press │<< or >>│ to jump to the previous or next photo or observation marker.
7. Press ■ or OK to stop the playback and go back to the file browser.
NOTE: With ‘Tab Menu Timeout’ enabled, the Playback OSD will fade from view after a few seconds (see
Section 5.8.1).
The digital imaging controls of the P340 controller also work when playing video. Zoom, rotate or pan the
picture on screen, see Section 6.6.
CAUTION: Do not remove the memory storage device, or switch the controller off during the playback
process. Doing so may corrupt all data on the storage device and cause the controller to crash.
Screen pictures
During playback it is possible to capture video frames as JPEG photos. See Section 6.5 for more details.
