FUNCTIONS
4.6 Rapid traverse emptying (FS) and quick emptying (FZ-L)
⚠ CAUTION
Possible risk of accidents due to improper use of the rapid emptying!
If the rapid emptying is actuated outside of a dumping process, it can cause a strong pressure drop in
the hydraulic system. The resulting imprecise and uncontrolled working behaviour of the front loader
can cause accidents.
Only use the rapid emptying during dumping processes.
⚠ CAUTION
Risk of accident due to improper use of the rapid and quick emptying!
Use of the rapid or quick emptying on implements with hydraulic functions can cause damage to the
hydraulic lines. This increases the risk of accidents.
Only use the rapid or quick emptying with implements that do not have hydraulic functions.
Rapid emptying (FS rapid emptying)
An additional valve on the implement cylinder
ensures faster dumping of the implement during
the rapid emptying.
In this case, the hydraulic fluid is diverted from
the scooping side of the implement cylinder to the
dumping side, so that the pump is relieved.
See 6.1 Operating elements for how to
operate the rapid emptying.
Quick emptying (FZ-L)
With quick emptying, an additional valve on the
implement cylinder causes the load to be
dumped immediately.
The valve establishes a connection between the
scooping side and the dumping side of the
implement. The dumping process starts when
pressing the button and is accelerated by the
implement's own weight and that of the load.
When the button is actuated, the
implement dumps the load immediately
without hydraulic actuation.
See 6.1 Operating elements for how to
operate the quick emptying.
