DISASSEMBLY / REASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY
NOTE:
For correct assembly, scribe an alignment mark on each part
of fuel pump.
Remove six screws 1 and remove in sequence the outer plate
2, diaphragm 3 and valve body 4.
Turn piston 6 until pin 5 comes out through cutaway of pump
body 0.
Remove following parts :
•Pin5
• Piston 6
• Spring 7
• Diaphragm 8
• Spring 9
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is reverse order of disassembly with special atten-
tion to the following steps.
NOTE:
After connecting diaphragm rod

to piston
6
with pin
5
, align
the six diaphragm holes to pump body holes by turning pis-
ton
6
and diaphragm
8
together. Turning them together pre-
vents the pin from coming out through pump body

cutaway.
