TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE:
Before troubleshooting the electric starter system, make sure of the following :
• Battery is fully charged.
• All cables / wires are securely connected.
• Shift is in “NEUTRAL” position.

Check for relay “click” sound when starter but-
ton depressed.
Is there “click” sound?
Measure voltage at terminal 2 with starter
button depressed. It must be above 12 V.
Is result OK?
Measure voltage at terminal 3 with starter
button depressed. It must be above 12 V.
Is result OK?
Starter motor failure Sub cable failure
Measure voltage at

Check 25A fuse and
fuse case.
