Remove the pinion gear assembly and shim.
Remove the stopper ring
1 and O-ring
2.
Remove the bearing with a commercially available bearing
puller or a hydraulic press.
NOTE:
If there is no abnormal condition, the bearing removal is not nec-
essary.

Remove the pinion gear pilot bearing with the special tools.

09930-30104: Sliding shaft
NOTE:
If there is no abnormal condition, the bearing removal is not nec-
essary.

The removed O-ring and bearing must be replaced
with the new ones.
The removed bearing must be replaced with a new
one.
