ENGINE DISASSEMBLY
SPARK PLUG
• Remove the spark plug with a spark plug wrench.
CYLINDER HEAD COVER
• Remove the cylinder head cover 1 and its gasket.
GENERATOR COVER
• Remove the generator cover 1.
A: Hooked part
CYLINDER HEAD
• Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise to bring the line A on
the generator rotor to the index mark B of the generator case.
NOTE:
When removing the cylinder head, piston must be at TDC on
compression stroke.
• Remove the cylinder head bolts.
NOTE:
Loosen the cylinder head bolts little by little and diagonally.
• Remove the cylinder head 1.
