• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” to the return spring 5.
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” or equivalent
• Install the return spring 5.
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” to the sliding part of the
friction spring 6 and ratchet.
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” or equivalent
• Align the friction spring 6 with the projection D of the ratchet.
• Apply THREAD LOCK “1342” to the bolt 7.
• Tighten the bolt 7 to the specified torque.
99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1342” or equivalent
Recoil starter friction plate bolt:
5.4 N·m (0.54 kgf-m, 4.0 lb-ft)
• Pull the rope and check that the ratchet is pushed out.
